Textron Systems To Cut Jobs
Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008Providence Rhode Island based Textron Systems, suppliers of weapons systems, surveillance systems, marine craft, armored vehicles and aircraft control components, has announced plans to cut 2200 jobs in 2009, as part of corporate downsizing.
Continued weakening in economic conditions is the mentioned reasoning for the latest announcment.
Textron, which is also in the commercial finance business, will be eliminating that division completely.
